Twoo - spam techniques

I have been conned by the social networking site Twoo

More about Twoo:

You receive an email (from probably somebody you know) that there is a message for you on Twoo.

It looks innocent enough as Twoo  is a well established social networking site. You can log in with your Facebook details (or Google) with the minumum of questions.  It turns out to be a dating site however and never mind what you fill in it opens a profile in your name and mentions that you want to meet people of the opposite sex between ages that it decides for you. It probably gets your info from Facebook or Google. It then sends out emails to all in your address book.

It costs you hours of  your precious time in answering emails to undo the damage caused by this.

It does not explicitly state that it is a dating site when you attempt to join.

Fortunately it has an option to cancel membership - (if they abide by it).

You may perhaps see names there of other people you know that are highly unlikely to have joined a dating service.

If you want to join Twoo to get a date, maybe it is the place to be - all your email connections will immediately know !  BUT  DON'T GO THERE TO JUST READ A  MESSAGE !
